2nd Global One Piece Character Poll Results Are In – Interest


During the “One Piece Day ’26” event on Sunday, the One Piece franchise revealed the final outcomes of the “One Piece World Top 100 2nd” popularity poll. Securing the podium for the global rankings are series lead Monkey D. Luffy at number one, followed by Roronoa Zoro in second, and Sanji in third. Every member of the Straw Hat Pirates successfully landed within the top 30 positions: Nami claimed fourth, Nico Robin took sixth, Tony Tony Chopper finished 13th, Usopp landed at 19th, Brook reached 27th, Franky (Cutty Flam) secured 29th, and Jinbe rounded them out at 30th place.

The complete worldwide top 10 list features the following characters:

When breaking down the results by geographic region, Luffy held onto the crown in Japan, the rest of Asia, and North America. However, Nami outpaced the competition to take the number one spot across Oceania, Europe, and the Middle East. Meanwhile, Roronoa Zoro captured first place in Central America, South America, and Africa. Notably, Oceania stands alone as the single region where Luffy missed the top three entirely, placing fourth behind Nami, Zoro, and Sanji.

Voting for the second global character poll opened on March 4 and ran through June 11, closing at 11:59 p.m. Japan Time (10:59 a.m. EDT). Fans were given the opportunity to vote for one of the 1,567 eligible characters spanning the entire One Piece franchise once every day. By the time interim results were tallied in early May, Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji had already established themselves at the front of the pack.

In the previous global poll, Monkey D. Luffy and Roronoa Zoro similarly claimed the top two positions, though Nami managed to edge out Sanji for the third-place spot.

To celebrate the event during the voting phase, organizers released a commemorative video highlighting iconic manga moments for many beloved figures:
