33 titles available at launch
Anime planning and production studio Twin Engine has teamed up with Bandai Co., Ltd. to roll out a brand-new digital manga platform called Bibibi Comic, following up on their previously revealed business alliance.
Readers can access stories on the service by using free tickets earned through platform missions, alongside a system that unlocks one free chapter every 23 hours.
The platform debuts with 33 available series, featuring works such as Sayaka Mogi‘s Shibarikami (Binding God) and Koge Donbo‘s Saitsu yo Akuyaku Reijō Saikyō Jūdō-ka no Kan Akuyaku Reijō to Naru (The Strongest Villainess: The Strongest Judo Man Becomes The Strongest Villainess).
This collaborative project between Twin Engine and Bandai spans the creation of original manga, anime adaptations, toys, and licensed merchandise. Specifically, Twin Engine will oversee the production, planning, marketing, and distribution of the anime adaptations, whereas Bandai will direct product development, promotional strategies, licensing, and overall IP value enhancement.
The partners plan to invest a combined total of up to 4 billion yen (approximately US$25.35 million) into the venture. Further announcements regarding the project are expected in the near future.
