Kodansha USA Publishing handles the English release of the original manga series, outlining the premise as follows:

Shizuka takes on the most perilous assassination contracts, though she isn’t the one pulling the trigger. That role belongs to her brother, Nagi, a powerhouse hitman who took a bullet meant for her, leaving him comatose and confined to a wheelchair. However, Shizuka discovers the key to waking him up: he must be confronted with lethal intent! Thus kicks off a brutal, action-packed crusade for recovery against the world’s most dangerous adversaries.

Behind the scenes, Tadahiro Yoshihira (Knights of Sidonia: Love Woven in the Stars) and Hiroaki Ando (Kaina of the Great Snow Sea, Ajin) are directing the series and penning the scripts at Polygon Pictures, with Yoshihira also overseeing overall script supervision. Yūki Moriyama (Blame!) provides the character designs, Masaru Yokoyama (Mashle: Magic and Muscles, Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans) composes the score, and Kazuma Teshigahara (Kaina of the Great Snow Sea) is credited for production design.

For readers looking to follow the source material, Kodansha’s K MANGA platform publishes the series digitally. Manabu Yashiro initially launched the manga in Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket app in November 2022 before transitioning it to Monthly Shonen Sirius in November 2024. The 10th compiled tankōbon volume hit shelves on March 26.
