The veteran edgerunner King is shown wrestling with the loss of control, visibly succumbing to cyberpsychosis while speaking to a hospitalized Talia. Carax also crosses paths with D, a vengeful netrunner who feels like the literal embodiment of trauma and despair.
The footage indicates that the 10-episode season will largely unfold through Carax’s lens as he documents the tragic downfalls of those around him. Alongside the trailer, Netflix confirmed that Edgerunners 2 is officially slated to premiere on October 20, 2026, accompanied by a fresh set of promotional stills.
