The official website for the Duel Masters LOST anime series has dropped a brand-new visual and announced an October 9 premiere for the fourth installment, titled Duel Masters LOST ~Danzai no Shōnen~ (The Sentencing Boy). Consisting of four episodes, this new arc will be broadcast on various streaming platforms, anchored by the official Duel Masters YouTube channel. Fresh episodes are scheduled to drop bi-weekly on Friday evenings at 9:00 p.m. JST.
The upcoming arc brings back familiar voices, with Nina Tamaki returning to star as Lost Kōzaki. Tamaki previously lent her voice to a "mysterious boy" character in the earlier iterations of the anime.
Behind the scenes, the core production crew is making a welcome return. Riki Fukushima is back in the director’s chair, collaborating once again with studios J.C. Staff and SMDE, while Yūji Matsukura oversees animation production. Yōichi Katō resumes his role as series script supervisor, Chikara Hashizume returns to handle character designs, and Go Sakabe is back composing the musical score.
Rooted in the long-running Duel Masters trading card game franchise, the LOST universe was brought to life by creators Yō Kanebayashi and Shigenobu Matsumoto. The initial manga, Duel Masters LOST Tsuioku no Suishō (Crystal of Remembrance), ran from February to March 2024. The creative duo followed up with Duel Masters LOST ~Gekka no Shinigami~ (Reaper of the Moon) from August 2024 to February 2025, quickly pivoting to the third arc, Duel Masters LOST ~Bōkyaku no Taiyō~, in September 2025.
The fourth segment, Duel Masters LOST ~Danzai no Shōnen~, ran from March 26 to July 2, wrapping up its run with the confirmation that a fifth arc is officially in the works.
Looking at the adaptation timeline, the net anime for Tsuioku no Suishō kicked things off with a four-episode run in October 2024. It was followed by the Gekka no Shinigami adaptation, which aired from December 2024 through February 2025, and subsequently the Bōkyaku no Taiyō anime adaptation, which launched its four-episode streaming release on February 6.
