Dragon Ball Super is making a grand return, pairing its upcoming anime revival with a brand-new promotional partnership. Burger King has officially teamed up with the iconic franchise to launch a Super Saiyan-themed menu alongside an exclusive line of collectible toys.
The global rollout for the Burger King and Dragon Ball Super promotion begins internationally in late August, with broader regional expansions slated for early September. Currently, the campaign is live in Mongolia, and a U.S. release is anticipated in the near future.
Burger King Debuts New Dragon Ball Super Menu & Figures Starring Goku, Vegeta, and More
Tailored around the hit 2015 series, the fast-food chain’s King Jr. meals will now come with a set of six unique mini-figures. The collection highlights fan-favorite characters, including standard and Super Saiyan Blue variants of Goku and Vegeta.
Rounding out the toy lineup are classic Piccolo and Beerus, the God of Destruction. Beerus’s inclusion ties directly into the upcoming fall release of Dragon Ball Super: Beerus, a specialized remake of the series’ opening arc that paves the way for the much-anticipated anime sequel announced earlier this year.
This upcoming project promises refreshed animation styles and brand-new sequences—including teases regarding Frieza’s return—while correcting the notorious visual inconsistencies that plagued the original 2015 broadcast.
Looking further ahead, Toei Animation is officially bringing the manga’s “Galactic Patrol Prisoner Saga” to television screens. Conceived by the late Akira Toriyama and co-creator Toyotarou, this arc leans into the darker, suspenseful tone reminiscent of Dragon Ball Z, driven by Moro, a formidable planet-consuming wizard who once terrorized Universe 7.
Beyond television, the gaming space is expanding with Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 slated for a 2027 launch across major platforms. Set in a futuristic timeline, the game will incorporate some of the final character designs drawn by Akira Toriyama prior to his passing in 2024.
