Harvest Moon: Echoes of Teradea Delayed to October 15
Natsume has announced that Harvest Moon: Echoes of Teradea, the newest entry in the long-running farming simulation series, will now release on October 15, shifting back from its initial September 24 launch window. The title is scheduled to arrive on the Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
In this installment, players are tasked with lifting the mysterious mist from the Forest of Echoes that has blanketed Teradea, waking the Guardian Spirits, and dealing with nighttime prowling wolves. Alongside your home base of Bloomfield Village, the adventure takes you to several distinct locations, including the port settlement of Tidewind, the mining hub Quarrytop, and the cultural crossroads of Maplehill. As always, players will farm crops, raise animals, and build relationships with locals.
The game introduces five bachelors and five bachelorettes alongside fresh traversal mechanics like jumping and climbing. Players can take their pets and livestock along on excursions, though they must stay alert to avoid wild animals or risk losing items. Additionally, the game features nautical charts that guide players to hidden, remote islands.
Special editions and pre-order incentives will be available for buyers.
Natsume previously brought the Nintendo 3DS titles Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley and Harvest Moon: Skytree Village to the Nintendo Switch in July 2025, following a brief delay from June. Before that, Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos debuted on consoles and PC in September 2023.
Background note: Natsume originally published Marvelous’s Bokujō Monogatari series in North America under the Harvest Moon banner. However, since 2015, Marvelous’s subsidiary XSEED Games has localized the franchise under the title Story of Seasons, while Natsume continues to develop and publish its own original Harvest Moon titles.
