The production team behind the upcoming live-action television adaptation of Tamifull’s How Do We Relationship? (Tsukiatte Agete mo Ii ka na) manga has revealed the official main visual along with seven new cast members.
The newly announced additions to the cast include:
- Ayaka Konno as Yuria Washio, a new employee at the tavern where Saeko works.
- Eiku Yamashita (of the boy band ONE N’ ONLY) as Mikkun, a band drummer who plays alongside Saeko and Miwa.
- Kasumi Yamaya as Shiho Kumagai, Miwa’s high school upperclassman and first love.
- Reina Kurosaki as Rika-chan, a member of the light music circle.
- Kū Ijima as Tsuruta, the guitarist in the band with Saeko and Miwa.
- Yo Aoi as Rucha, the band’s vocalist.
- Ryō Hashimoto (from the comedy duo School Zone) as Kamedo, Saeko’s senior colleague at the tavern.
The series is scheduled to premiere on MBS on September 10.
Leading the adaptation are Riho Sayashi as Saeko Sawatari and Sakurako Konishi as Miwa Inuzuka.
Behind the scenes, Kana Yamada is directing episodes 1, 2, 3, 6, and 8, while Sunhye Hong is directing episodes 4, 5, and 7. The scripts are written by Miki Matsugasako, with music composed by Tomohide Harada. Additionally, Momoko Nishiyama serves as the intimacy coordinator, and Yuri Igarashi provides LGBTQ supervision.

Shy Miwa has always dreamed of finding love, but growing up in a small Japanese town made it difficult to find the right partner—especially since she is attracted to women. College didn’t instantly solve her problems either, until her outgoing classmate Saeko casually suggests they start dating since neither of them has any other prospects.
Initially, clashing personalities and misunderstandings threaten to derail the pairing. However, as their casual arrangement begins to evolve into something deeper, Miwa is left wondering if a pragmatic beginning can truly blossom into genuine love.
Created by Tamifull, the manga originally debuted in Shogakukan’s Ura Sunday and Manga ONE platforms in August 2018 and concluded its run in March 2025. Shogakukan released the 14th and final compiled volume in April 2025, with Viz Media releasing the English edition of the final volume on April 14.
