Set in a universe where a mystical energy known as mana permeates everything, the story follows the rare individuals capable of harnessing it: mages. Depending on their aptitude and control, a mage’s power can vary wildly. The protagonist, Kinato, is a young practitioner who inherited his family’s business, currently managing a local seitai clinic where he assists everyday clients by realigning their bodies and energies.
Despite his modest lifestyle, Kinato harbors a deep hunger for adventure and dreams of seeing the wider world, even though his magical abilities are somewhat limited. Traditionally, only elite combat mages brave dangerous quests and battle fierce monsters, leaving Kinato’s particular skill set unsuited for such hazards.
