Kiki’s Delivery Service takes center stage with a new wave of adorable plushies and enchanting jewelry.
While the spirited young witch Kiki anchors Studio Ghibli’s beloved 1989 classic, Kiki’s Delivery Service, her quick-witted feline companion, Jiji, frequently steals the show.
Given her sweet disposition, Kiki wouldn’t mind sharing the spotlight. In fact, every time the Ghibli specialty retailer Donguri Kyowakoku rolls out a fresh batch of Jiji-themed merchandise, it’s easy to picture Kiki standing right in line with fans to grab her own pieces and celebrate her favorite cat.

This is a delightful and unique launch, shifting the focus away from Jiji himself and onto his offspring, who make a brief appearance during the movie’s closing credits. Seeing these kittens—born to Jiji and his partner Lily—sparked plenty of curiosity among fans regarding their future adventures. Now, collectors have a tangible way to bring one of these little kittens home.
Both Kiki and Jiji would undoubtedly adore the intricate craftsmanship, from the wide, expressive eyes to the perky pink ears that capture a miniature, youthful resemblance of Jiji himself.

Officially titled the “Jiji’s Baby Plush Toy“, this soft companion features a smooth, velour-like fabric that feels so lovely to the touch, you won’t want to put it down. Standing at 16 centimeters (6.3 inches) tall, the little kitten is available for 3,300 yen (approx. $21 USD).
As a wonderful bonus, Donguri Kyowakoku has also brought back another fan-favorite item by restocking the “Looks Just Like Jiji” plushie (priced at 2,750 yen).
As dedicated viewers will remember, this particular plushie replicates the decoy toy tucked inside a wicker basket in the film—one that bears an uncanny, hilarious likeness to Jiji.
In the storyline, Kiki is tasked with delivering this toy to a recipient named Ketto, only to accidentally misplace it along the way.
This mix-up sparks a charmingly frantic chain of events where Jiji has to step in and pose as the toy while Kiki’s artist friend Ursula works her magic to mend the slightly scuffed original.
True to form, the plush version features those very same visible stitch accents, making it look as though it hopped right out of the animated film.
The celebration of all things Jiji extends further with the return of a popular jewelry line inspired by the clever cat and the Guchokipanya bakery where Kiki and Jiji spend so much of their time.
