During their panel at Anime NYC on Friday, Manga Mavericks Books revealed two new manga licenses slated for English publication:

Title: Midnight Robot (Yoru no Robot)

Release Date: May 2027
Synopsis: Fumiko Daidouji has grown accustomed to an absentee father—until he abruptly reappears with a bizarre housewarming gift: a physical screw embedded straight into her skull. He insists it’s her only defense against an unnamed, shadowy syndicate, leaving Fumiko to conclude that her old man has completely lost his mind.
As it turns out, the conspiracy is entirely real, and the organization is hunting for Fumiko’s unique screw to summon a colossal mecha. Thrust headfirst into a global conflict, she watches her mundane life vanish overnight. Now, she must navigate the threat of planetary annihilation, alternate dimensions, and the enigmatic midnight robot bridging them all.
Sajita initially launched Midnight Robot as a self-published work in 2015. Hayakawa Publishing picked up the series for their Hayacomi website in 2024, where serialization is ongoing, subsequently releasing the second collected volume in September 2025.

Akahachi originally debuted the manga in April 2023.
Additionally, Manga Mavericks Books announced a special restoration project. With official authorization from Fairbell Inc. and creator Yumiko Igarashi, the publisher is recovering and remastering original color artwork from the classic The Sword of Paros manga to feature in their upcoming English edition. To complete the restoration, the publisher is actively seeking leads from fans who may have copies of specific 1986 and 1987 issues of Monthly Asuka magazine.
