WWWave Corporation‘s anime streaming
platform,
OceanVeil, announced on Tuesday that the web
anime
Miru Tights
will be added to its catalog on Thursday at 9:00 p.m. EDT. OceanVeil highlights the series with the following description:

Conceived by acclaimed illustrator Yom—renowned for their hyper-realistic and detailed focus on pantyhose aesthetics—Miru Tights is a dedicated tribute to hosiery. Whether your preference lies in the sheer elegance of 30-denier fabric, the matte finish of 60-denier tights, or the dramatic tension of a sudden snag, OceanVeil invites viewers to enjoy this specialized artistry without reservation.

Initially, the anime launched on the Nico Nico Channel and the d Anime Store platforms in May 2019. Its official YouTube channel also provided episodes featuring English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese subtitles. Comprising 12 five-minute episodes, the project later received a home video release in Japan that
included an exclusive 13th episode alongside the multi-language subtitle options.

The production was directed by Yūki Ogawa (Ōya-san wa Shishunki!) at Yokohama Animation Lab, with scripts penned by Fumiaki Maruto (White Album 2, Classroom Crisis, and Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend). Character designs were handled by Yukari Hibino, while the musical score was composed by SHADE. Additionally, the three main cast members performed individual character versions of the ending theme song, “True Days.”

The original concept was crafted by creator Yomu (Yom), whose portfolio prominently features illustrations centered around characters wearing tights.

Yom is also known for Ganbare Dōki-chan (You Can Do It Dōki-chan), a dōjinshi manga series that inspired its own net anime
adaptation. That project
premiered via Japan’s ABEMA platform in September 2021, and was subsequently
streamed globally by Crunchyroll.
