Showcasing nostalgic artwork straight from the Sailor Moon R anime, these officially licensed calendars bring the Sailor Guardians and the Black Moon Clan to life across 12 primary months, plus four bonus months of magical-girl illustrations.
International Sailor Moon Collectors Get Official Calendar Release Reveal for 2027
Now available for purchase via Calendars.com, the Sailor Moon 2027 Wall Calendar ($16.99) and the Sailor Moon 2027 Mini Wall Calendar ($8.99) both boast full-color reproductions rendered in the beloved classic 1990s anime aesthetic.
Measuring 12 by 12 inches for the standard version and a compact 7 by 7 inches for the mini edition, both formats include bonus calendar grids running from September through December 2026. This allows enthusiasts to jump right in and enjoy a generous 16-month span of artwork.
True to previous Sailor Moon calendar lineups, the 2027 editions narrow their focus onto a single, cohesive season. This year shines a spotlight squarely on the Sailor Moon R Black Moon arc, featuring Usagi, her fellow guardians, Chibiusa, and a formidable lineup of antagonists such as the Specter Sisters, Prince Demande, Rubeus, Saphir, Esmeraude, Black Lady, and Wiseman.
The full-sized wall calendar kicks off the year by dedicating individual months to each of the Inner Guardians against striking, character-themed backdrops. January features Usagi Tsukino transforming into Sailor Moon against a vibrant pink setting, followed by Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, and Sailor Venus through May. June turns the spotlight to Chibiusa and Luna P, while July showcases Sailor Pluto framed by a warm burnt-orange background that makes her emerald locks pop.
As the year progresses into its second half, the calendar dives deep into the Black Moon storyline. August pairs Neo Queen Serenity with profile shots of Tuxedo Mask and Sailor Pluto, while September introduces the villainous Specter Sisters—Koan, Berthier, Petz, and Calaveras.
