The primary driver behind Season 3’s extended absence is a major creative shift: lead artist Jin has stepped down to fulfill his mandatory military service. Because this service typically spans 18 to 21 months, waiting for his return wasn’t feasible for the publishers, prompting them to bring in a replacement artist. Even though the manhwa’s comeback date is still unconfirmed, its English physical release kicked off on July 21st, 2026. Yen Press has made both digital and print purchasing options available through its website. Additional releases are already mapped out, with volume two dropping in October and volume three slated for January. Despite spanning three volumes already, the manhwa still has a tremendous amount of ground to cover.
Meanwhile, the source novel has wrapped up entirely, though producers have yet to announce an anime adaptation for the spin-off.
