Com2uS moves its upcoming game release to 2028, following an initial target of 2027.

South Korean publisher Com2uS has pushed back the launch of its Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint video game to 2028. This adjustment was revealed in the company’s Q2 2026 financial report published on August 12, shifting the schedule a year beyond the 2027 window announced this past May.
Development for the PC and console title is being handled by Offbeat, with plans for a worldwide rollout omitting mainland China.
Com2uS initially acquired the publishing rights for the franchise in March 2025. No official rationale has been provided for the recent schedule change.
Additionally, while Com2uS’ financial documents pointed to a 2028 debut for the Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint anime adaptation, primary distributors and production committees have yet to verify this timeframe, leaving the broadcast window unconfirmed.
